National Beta Club hands out more than $300,000 a year to over 250 senior members, with individual awards from $1,000 up to $20,000, including top prizes of $20,000, $15,000, $10,000, $8,000, $6,000, and six $2,500 awards. You need active membership registered by the program's January deadline.

What you'll need to apply

  • Transcript: High school
  • SAT or ACT scores: ACT or SAT scores
  • Resume or activities list
  • Essay: Two student essays (semifinalists)
  • 1 recommendation letter: Sponsor recommendation (semifinalists)
  • 1 to 3 candidate evaluations (semifinalists)
  • Active senior Beta Club membership
