A leadership scholarship that covers eight semesters of full tuition, room and board and most mandatory fees at Duke or UNC-Chapel Hill, plus funding for up to three summer experiences, conferences and two semesters of study abroad. About 25 first-years are chosen for each class. One application serves all high school students, whatever their citizenship, and it opens August 15 and is due November 15.
What you'll need to apply
- High School Application on the Robertson Scholars site. The pages we could read don't list its essays, recommendations or interviews
- For students who haven't started at any university; transfer students aren't eligible. International students may apply, and getting a U.S. study visa is up to you. To keep it you need a 3.0 GPA after the first year and a 3.30 after each later year. You attend either Duke or UNC and take at least five courses at the other
The sponsor's page only listed some of what's needed, so this list may be missing items and the effort score may be higher than the real work. Requirements can change each cycle. Confirm them on the sponsor's page before you apply.
